Quercetin has seen a huge increase in its popularity over the years. It has a ton of benefits that are extremely exciting.
It is known as a flavonoid, and these molecules are powerful antioxidants. It is found naturally in fruits and vegetables and cannot be made by our own body. We must take in an external source to get the benefits.
It is a potent antioxidant and is especially useful for neutralizing free radicals in our system. These molecules are what leads to cell damage over time and adding a daily regimen of quercetin helps mitigate the effects of these molecules.
It has a unique property in that in helps drive zinc into cells. Once inside, zinc has a powerful antiviral effect. They call this a “zinc ionophore” if you want to do more research and get into the biology. Therefore, we added it to ImmuneX2. The two together are more powerful than each on its own.
Quercetin is a potent anti-inflammatory on its own as well.
It is no surprise that this compound has been shown in a variety of studies to reduce the risk of cancer, decrease allergy symptoms, lower the risk of all types of infection, and lower your risk of heart disease.
This is plenty to motivate me to take it every day. It is another weapon in the war against aging and making sure you’re healthy and fit over time.
